Teens to the Max empowers teens (ages 13-17) to become authentic Marian-missionary disciples proclaiming the love of God with Mother Mary to all whom they encounter. All the teens and their mentor-leaders work together to build a vibrant community of Catholic friends who seek God in His Word, prayer, service through evangelizing projects, and in true communion as family of God.
Teen participants are welcomed to our events by a team of their peers we call “T2M Missionaries”. They offer a “good news” message based on sacred scripture and Catholic Church teaching, and guide their peers to meditate or discuss the scripture shared, with the support of adult mentors. We also have plenty of time for games, food, and opportunities to grow healthy friendships.
Location will change each month between the House of the Immaculata and a few trusted host families in the vicinity of West Covina. Location information is shared with those in our text message group through Remind app. To join the text group, send a text message to 81010 with “@teens2max” in the message body.
At a new participant’s first event, we ask that a registration packet signed by a parent/legal guardian be submitted to the program director. This serves as permission to participate for the entire year.

Ann O'Donnell shares the story of the Institute's first years in the United States:
I was in love with the spirituality of St. Maximilian Kolbe, the total consecration to Mary. Mary had become my guide, light, comfort and Mother. This love brought me to discover my vocation in the Fr. Kolbe Missionaries of the Immaculata, a secular institute of consecrated lay women founded in 1954 in Bologna, Italy.
