
Missionary activity today faces new frontiers and new challenges, as well as new and extraordinary opportunities for communication, through which God continues to make Himself known to humankind. One of the many newest opportunities to do so undoubtedly is the use of media.
Father Maximilian Kolbe loved to repeat, “Every means, every latest invention must be put at the service of the work of evangelization.” His dream, in fact, was to conquer the whole world to Christ through the Immaculata “by every possible means: art, literature, theater, cinema, printing, radio, etc.” Accepting this legacy, we too turn our attention to the means that modern technology provides, trusting in their positive use for service of God’s kingdom.
